I bought these and returned them in the same day. The puck that has to plug into your phone is nearly the same size and weight as a 2nd phone, and there is a constant super high frequency buzz right on the edge of normal hearing, which I’m sure is the noise cancellation, but this is using very old tech compared to their current products.

A bit of an exaggeration there. It would have been nice if Bose could have defied the laws of physics and crammed all the NC circuitry and a battery (that lasts 10hr?) into the tiny earbuds alas that didn’t happen and they had to make the compromise.

They have been improving their NC but these do a great job. I just recently stumbled on an issue with them (and not sure if other models suffer this too) which is that they seem to have poping noise issues when used on buses and trains. From what I have read it’s due to pressure changes when for instance the bus suddenly shakes due to a bump in the road etc. On the plane where the cabin pressure is maintained well I’ve never had any issue.
