Excellent price for the specs. Open-box is also only $520 shipped or $500 if your local store has stock.

I had this laptop twice. The first time, I had blue screens consistently. The second time I bought it, the battery life lasts maybe 3 or 4 hours doing everyday tasks.

exactly. but some of the reviews are holding me back. heat/network/driver/bsod/battery life issues

Nice amount of ram. With potential heat and other issues, wouldn’t recommend trying an open box, as you may already be rolling the dice with new.

Might as well go open-box then and update the BIOS and drivers. If it’s still being problematic after that then just return it. On the other hand, Best Buy’s return policy for laptops is 14 days. Starting on Nov 1st the return window will extend to mid January. Seems more sensible hold off on PC purchases until that goes into effect.
