Still figuring out how to spend your $15 ebay coupon? Here’s an option from an authorized dealer. This is a really cool Spaceview tribute so this watch has some history behind it and it uses Bulova’s awesome precisionist movement. The movement is unlike any other quartz out there. The band is kind of ugly, but that is easily remedied with a swap. The exact watch with a brown band goes for substantially more right now.

Ebay coupon drops it to $120.
Here’s a great review with a lot of the history. You can find more info by googling accutron ii alpha.

"The caliber BA101.10 is a high-grade, 8-jewel, 10 ligne 262.144 kHz UHF quartz movement that achieves a remarkable accuracy of ±10 seconds per year (or ±0.027 second per day), which is eight times greater than a standard quartz movement."
Video of sweeping second hand in comparison to mechanical. An extreme rarity for quartz

According to this review, the case and assembly is swiss, but with a Japanese movement. The Japanese movement means that it can’t have the swiss made logo.
